Apogee Installation: Securing the Apogee and Connecting to Apogee Manager

Log into Apogee Manager
  1. Slide the Apogee down over the 22” X 2” diameter antenna stub which is part of whatever mount type the network operator has selected (e.g. mast, NPRM, sidewall, side post). At this time DO NOT attach the LMR240 RF cables.
  2. To secure Apogee to the mount, use the 8 bolts (4 in the top of the Apogee and 4 in the bottom). The bolts may need to be adjusted so do not overtighten at this time.
  3. Apply power to the Apogee by connecting the Ethernet cable from the power source (e.g. switch, UPS, or PoE injector) to the RJ45 PoE port on the bottom plate of the Apogee.
  4. The Apogee and the Apogee Manager cloud should now connect.

TIP: We recommend that once the RJ45 cable has been seated in the Apogee that the installer apply a small amount of silicon to hold the cable in place and to apply a weatherproof seal over the cable end.
